SWAMI VIVEKANANDA JAYANTI

“All knowledge that the world has ever received has come from the mind; the infinite Library of the universe is in our own mind.”

Fill the brain with high thoughts, the highest ideals, place them day and night before you, and out of that will come great work. To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, maker of modern India, National Youth Day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm every year in India on 12th January. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the western world, and is credited with raising interfaith awareness.

On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Amit More of Std. VIII delivered a speech motivating the students to be good citizens of India, thus contributing to the development of the country.
