VIBRANT CELEBRATION OF ASHADHI EKADASHI

Ashadhi Ekadashi, a significant Hindu festival was joyfully celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam school, igniting the spirit of devotion and cultural pride among the students and staff. The event showcased various performances and activities that immersed everyone in the vibrant atmosphere of devotion and celebration.

The festivities commenced with a captivating mridang performance by Mauli Dhas, a talented student from Std-VI. Akashada Barhate of Std-V had the privilege to read information about the occasion. Students from Std-V to VII took the stage to perform a lively Palkhi dance. Clad in colourful traditional attire, the students swayed and twirled gracefully, expressing their reverence for ‘Lord Vitthal’. The Palkhi dance celebrated the essence of unity, devotion, and joy.

The program reached its culmination with the soul-stirring ‘Vitthal Aarti’ led by our esteemed Principal Swamini Pavanamritha Prana. The entire school gathered in unison, their voice resonating with heartfelt devotion as they chanted the sacred verses of the Aarti.
