Our school celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th with great enthusiasm. Our principal ma’am addressed the students and teachers; she also spoke about the importance of celebrating Mahashivaratri.
Sainarayan of Standard VIII D gave a speech highlighting the important role of women in society. The principal ma’am, senior supervisor, some of the senior teachers and non-teaching staff members were honoured on this occasion; they were presented shawls and flowers as tokens of love and respect.
Mrs. Sadhana Mudaliar recited a poem extolling women, and Shekhar Sir gave the vote of thanks.
