The sunlit morning of Women’s Day at our school began with a symbolic illumination – the lighting of the lamp at the Lotus feet of Amma, gracefully conducted by our esteemed Principal. The air was filled with appreciation and admiration as our Principal madam was felicitated with a vibrant bouquet presented by the ever-inspiring Kala Miss. The reins of the program were skilfully held by Vrunda Miss, who took charge as the anchor, weaving a tapestry of celebration and recognition throughout the event.
The significance of Women’s Day was eloquently presented by Manjiri Miss, shedding light on the remarkable strides made by women across the globe. Adding a creative touch, Bhakti Miss orchestrated a thought-provoking skit titled “Mother’s Role in the Family,” showcasing the pivotal and multifaceted role that mothers play in shaping households. The skit, performed with zest by the talented students of Std VII, not only entertained, but also emphasized the importance of acknowledging and celebrating the women who contribute tirelessly to the fabric of our lives. The event was a harmonious blend of respect, admiration, and a call for continued empowerment of women in all spheres.
