Recently, students from our school had the opportunity to attend a lecture conducted by Dr. P.G. Satsangi and his colleague from the Department of Chemistry at Pune University on the topic of air pollution. The lecture focused on understanding the risks associated with air pollution and the measures that can be taken to reduce it.

Air pollution is a significant problem that affects millions of people around the world. It is caused by various human activities, including transportation, industrialization, and energy production. Air pollution not only harms the environment but also poses a significant risk to human health. It is associated with respiratory problems, heart diseases and even premature death.

During the lecture, Dr. Satsangi emphasized the importance of understanding the sources of air pollution and the impact it has on our health. He also discussed the measures that can be taken to reduce air pollution, including the use of public transportation, promoting sustainable practices, and planting more trees.
