Children’s Day at our school was celebrated with joy and excitement. The day began with an inspiring speech from Mrs. Janhavi Bhide, who emphasized the importance of nurturing creativity and curiosity in every child. Following her words, Kshitija Maske from Std. X gave a speech honouring Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary, reminding everyone of his contributions to the nation. The event also featured mesmerizing solo dance performances by three talented students: Navya Nambiar (Std. II), Arini Iyer (Std. V), and Anushka Belsare (Std. IX).
In addition to these performances, a puppet show was organized for students from Nursery to Std. X, aiming to develop their motor skills in a fun and engaging way. A drawing competition was also held for students from Std. I to VIII to create an awareness about non-violence and compassion among students, and to give them a platform to unfold their creativity. The topics were, Animals are our friends, Save animals, and Stop all killing.
Overall, the Children’s Day celebration was a delightful experience filled with activities that encouraged learning, creativity, and enjoyment.
