School Stars Shine at State Level Karate Championship
The Universal Shotokan Karate Do Association recently hosted a thrilling Karate and Nunchuck Championship, bringing together participants from various schools. Our school proudly stood out as our students showcased exceptional skills and determination.
Netra Nadar, a fourth-grade student, emerged victorious, earning a well-deserved trophy and certificate. In the Brown Belt Group, Swaranjali More of Std V exhibited remarkable prowess by securing the coveted First place. Sangram Bhalgare, an eighth-grade student, displayed skilful techniques and earned Third place in the competitive Black Belt Group. Rugvedi Awate, Manan Tandon, Kartik Kale, and Sarthak Kasar, all from Std VIII and IX, demonstrated their martial arts expertise by securing top positions in different belt groups.
Vishwa Sports Academy recently hosted a State Level Karate Championship that witnessed outstanding performances from our school’s talented martial artists. Among the standout achievers was Shravya Waghmode from UKG, who clinched a well-deserved Gold Medal. Aayush Bondare of Std IV showcased his prowess, earning a Silver Medal, while Aaradhya Bondare of Std V demonstrated resilience and received a Bronze Medal. Anshika Bondare of Std VI exhibited exceptional talent, securing a Gold Medal in the prestigious competition.
During the gripping Kata Event, Gargi Golhane of Std VII exhibited finesse and earned a commendable second place. Akshaya Patil of Std VII and Om Gharat of Std VIII showcased their martial arts prowess, each earning a Bronze Medal. Adding a unique accolade to our achievements, Om Gharat also received a Momento for Referee-ship. Suvarna Iyer of Std VIII displayed skill and determination, securing a Medal and Certificate for her exceptional performance.
The grand recognition ceremony took place during the school assembly, where our esteemed Principal Madam personally presented the trophies, medals, and certificates to the victorious students. The event undoubtedly left an indelible mark, inspiring other students to follow suit and pursue excellence in both martial arts and personal growth.
