Sports and games play an important role in the holistic development of the learners. A healthy sports quotient not only ensures good stamina, but also refines skills, develops strategies, nurtures team work, and builds leadership qualities. Time and again students have proved their mettle as they participate in numerous track and field events.
Zilla Parishad had organized Subrato Mukherjee Football Cup for the age group under 14 years. Students of Std. VII and Std. VIII from Amrita Vidyalayam, Pune secured First place with Gold Medal and certificates. They also got selected for the Zonal Level in Solapur. The students were awarded medals and certificates by Principal Swamini Pavanamritha Prana in the assembly.
The school applauded the students for their performance, hard work and dedication.
