On 26th August 2024, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Shree Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The event began with an informative talk about Shree Krishna Janmashtami delivered by Rutva Neve of Class IX. The celebrations continued with a vibrant dance performance on the song “Gavlan” by the girls, followed by more energetic dances including a pyramid formation for the Dahi Handi ritual. Both girls and boys actively participated, showcasing their teamwork and spirit.
The highlight of the event was the Dahi Handi breaking, where the boys and girls formed separate groups to take part in this traditional activity. The event saw participation from more than 50 students from classes V to X, who performed with zeal and made the event memorable. The celebrations were a perfect blend of cultural education and fun, reflecting the spirit of unity and tradition at Amrita Vidyalayam.
