Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 7th March 2014. The Principal, Brni. Pavanamritaji, spoke a few words, extolling the importance of women.
The Principal, Brni. Pavanamritaji and the senior supervisior, Mrs. Indulekha , were presented with a bouquet. Janhavi Thite, a student of Std. VIIth ‘A’, gave a speech. Ashmika Gupte of Std. VIIth ‘C’ Spoke about 5 eminent women of India – Amma, Lata Mangeskar, Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar, Sarojini Naidu and Saini Nehwal. The roles of these eminent women were enacted by Preeti, Arya, Tanisha, Shreya and Samruddhi (all of Std. VIIth) respectively.
