As a part of the National Girl’s development mission undertaken by the Government of India, the school celebrated National Girl Child Day on Saturday, 24th January 2015.
Shrutika Vichare of Std. IX D gave some information about National Girl Child Day. Manaswi Hiremath of Std. V D, recited a poem in Hindi and Rutuja patil of Std. V D recited a poem in Marathi. Students of Std. III to Std. V performed a skit, highlighting the importance of daughter in a family. Slogans and banners were prepared by the students on the theme of importance of girls.
The celebration helped raise awareness of nurturing girls and the importance of girls in the society.
