The school celebrated the 70th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm. Dr. Sureshkumar Mehta was the Chief Guest for the occasion.
The function began with the hoisting of the National Flag. This was followed by the National Anthem and the Pledge. Students also presented a patriotic song in Marathi. Sakshi Gavhane of standard IX gave a speech in English, and Riya Mukharji of standard VI gave a speech in Hindi.
The Chief Guest presented awards to Aarya Musale (cheque of Rs.5000 for State Level Drawing Competition) and Srushti More (Gold and Silver medals in State Level Karate Competition). In his speech, the Chief Guest spoke about the importance of developing a positive attitude, yoga, and co-curricular activities.
The program concluded with Vande Mataram.
