As a part of ‘Swacchata Mohim 2014’, the school celebrated Environment Day on 25th November. Nidhi Nair of Std. VI A gave a speech about the importance of conserving the environment. Ruchita Kahane and Nupur Patwardhan of Std.IV ‘C’ recited a poem on environment. Bhakti Shet of Std. X ‘C’ gave a speech in Hindi. Mrs. Snehal Patke spoke about importance of saving environment, in a speech in Marathi.
Students of Std. V and Std VI had prepared posters on saving environment. The posters with slogans for saving the environment were displayed during the school assembly. Also, the slogans were read aloud. Students of Std. V B presented askit on saving environment.
The programme ended with an environmental pledge.
