On 19th October, our school celebrated the centenary year of famous Marathi writers Ram Ganesh Gadkari, P. l. Deshpandeand G. D. Madgulkar.
Mrs. Snehal Patke spoke about the great works of these writers on this occasion. Shweta Shelke of Std. X spoke about writer Ram Ganesh Gadkari. Atharva Pawar of Std. X enacted the famous character of Gokul and Pragati Dimble enacted the character of Mathura.
Saniya Jahagirdar of Std. VIII spoke about writer P. L. Deshpande and characters from his books were enacted by the students. Samarth Prabhu of Std. X presented Phulrani and Siddhi Bhagat of Std. X presented thecharacter of Narayan. Mrs. Snehal Patke spoke about the writer G. D. Madgulkar. Nilesh Kute Sir presented a song from Geet Ramayan, Sainarain of Std. XIperformed the song ‘Kanada Raja Pandharicha’, and students of Std. VII, VIIIand IX performed ‘Vandya Vande Mataram’. Arya Desai of Std. IX sang the song ‘Padaravarti Jartaricha Mor Nachara Hawa. Girls of Std. X performed a dance to the famous songs of G. D. Madgulkar- ‘Nach Re Mora’ and ‘Jhuk Jhuk Jhuk AgmGaadi’.
