Our school celebrated the 70th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm. Ms. Smita Jadhav introduced the chief guest, Retired Lieutenant Commander Bhanudas Jadhav of the Indian Navy. The chief guest hoisted the National Flag, which was followed by zenda geet and pledge. Students of Standards VI, VII and VIII performed a patriotic song. Yashari Ingle of Std. VIII gave an English speech and Pranita Ghalsasi of Std. VIII gave a Hindi speech. Students of Std.VI and Std. VII performed a group dance to a patriotic song. Our Principal Madam spoke to the students about Republic Day and its importance. The chief guest then addressed the students. He advised them to have high ambitions and work with focus and a strong will to fulfil their aims. The winners of various school competitions were awarded with medals. The entire programme was anchored by Mrs. Pallavi Borade. Mrs. Sindhu Manoj gave the vote of thanks and the programme ended with Vande Mataram.
