The seminar took place during Awareness Week, aiming to educate students on the importance of adhering to traffic norms and staying vigilant in the digital landscape.
Mr. Augustine Dimello, Police Sub Inspector, took the stage to elucidate the intricacies of traffic rules and regulations. Through engaging anecdotes and real-life scenarios, Mr. Dimello painted a vivid picture of the consequences of flouting traffic rules. He emphasized the role each student plays in ensuring road safety, not just for themselves, but for the entire community. The session covered topics such as pedestrian safety, the significance of seat belts, and the consequences of driving under the influence.
Mr. Ravindra Ahir Rao, Asst. Sub Inspector, shifted the focus to the virtual realm, addressing the ever-growing concerns related to cyber security. Using relatable examples, he highlighted the potential risks associated with online activities and the importance of safeguarding personal information.
