Onam is the festival of happiness, peace and prosperity. It was celebrated at our school with great fervour and gaiety on September 9, 2019. Janhavi Lohkare of Std. VIII spoke about the importance of Onam festival, and teachers made a Rangoli of flowers petals called pookkalam. The theme of the pookkalam was to showcase ‘Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava’, a concept embodying the equality of the destination of the paths followed by all religions. The lamp was lit by our Principal Indulekha Madam. ‘Thiruvathirakali’, the popular folk dance of the maidens of Kerala, was performed by students of Std. III to Std. VI.
