NATIONAL LEVEL JAMBOREE MEET

“Character is the real foundation of all worthwhile success.”

Impossible is not a word in the dictionary of Amrita Vidyalayam students. One more stone was unturned when Vighnesh Tilekar of Class-X got the opportunity to attend the ‘18th National Jamboree’ through ‘Ocean Cadet Academy’.

The Jamboree is a national level gathering of Scouts and Guides conducted once in 4 years. It gives the Scouts and Guides an opportunity to interact with youth from different states of India and from abroad, and share their customs, food habits, handicrafts, religious practices, culture, etc. with one another. The Bharat Scouts and Guides work for the character building of boys and girls without any distinction of creed, race or gender.

The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the 18th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides at Pali, Rajasthan on 4th January 2023.

“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet; only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved.”
