Marathi Gaurav Diwas was celebrated on a grand scale on February 27, 2020 to mark Sri V.V. Shirwadkar’s birth anniversary. There was a variety entertainment programme which depicted Maharashtra’s folk dance and culture such as Lavani, Bharuda followed by Gavalan, Gondhal, Vaghya Murli and Vasudev performed by the students. Teachers also spoke about the culture and traditions of Maharashtra. The programme ended with prayer and Pasayadan.
