Joyful Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations at School

Our school celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great joy from September 7th to 13th. On the first day, the Ganesh idol was installed by our Principal. To encourage eco-friendly practices, a Shadu Clay workshop was conducted by Mr. Fadnavis and Mr. Hake for students from Std 3 to Std 9 on September 3rd and 4th. During the celebration, a Rangeela Pidilite colouring competition was also held for students from Nursery to Std 10, where everyone enjoyed adding colours to the festival. A group of 120 students from classes V to X took part in the Atharvashirsha recitation at the Dagdusheth Ganapati Temple at 5:00 PM on the fifth day of the Ganesh Utsav.

On September 10th, Akshara Kulkarni from Class 10 explained the significance of Gauri Pooja to the students. Following this, students from Classes 8 to 10 energized the school with dynamic performances of Dhol-Tasha and Sambhal, filling the air with rhythmic and powerful beats. Alumni of our school also joined in the performances, making the event even more memorable for everyone present.

On 12th September, students from Std 7 and Std 8 performed a special dance. Their performance was full of grace and excitement, adding to the festive spirit of the celebration. Throughout the event, the students actively participated in various programs, bringing everyone together in the joy of the occasion.

The celebrations came to a close on September 13th with the Ganapati Visarjan. All the staff and students took part in the procession, where an eco-friendly Ganapati immersion was done within the school. The Visarjan was made even more lively with Dhol-Tasha and Pathak performances. Every day during the celebrations, the entire school gathered for the Ganapati Aarti, offering prayers together with devotion and love.
