The school celebrated Independence Day with zeal and enthusiasm. Mr. Narayan Deshpande was invited as the Chief Guest. The programme began with flag hoisting accompanied by the National Anthem, and Zenda Geet.
Vice-Principal Mrs. Indulekha Nambissan introduced the Chief Guest. Students of classes 8, 9 and 10 performed a patriotic song. Sujata Patil and Aryan Khan from Std. 9 gave speeches in English and Hindi respectively. Prizes were distributed to meritorious students. The entire programme was anchored by Mrs. Mai Renakey.
