On 15th August, the school celebrated Independence Day. Shri Agasthi Kanitkar, former chairman of PCNTDA, was invited as the chief guest.
The chief guest hoisted the chief guest with a bouquet. Miss Smita Jadhav gave an introduction of the chief guest. Shrutika Vichare and Ujwal Murudi shared their thoughts of achieving Independence in the sense.
A group of students presented a patriotic song “Bharat Hamaari Maa Hai”. This was followed by a group dance, paying tribute to our motherland.
Later, the chief guest as well as Poojya Swamiji addressed the students, inspiring them to achieve high aims in life.Scholarship was awarded to meritorious students. Also, prizes were given to students their outstanding performance in classical dance.
Mrs.Nirmala Shinde compered the programme. At the end, Mrs. Anuja Yetinder gave vote of thanks. The programme ended with Vande Mataram.
