Lord Ganesha is widely worshipped as a God of Wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. The festival also known as Vinayak Chaturthi is observed in the Hindu Calendar in the month of Bhadrapada starting on Shukla Chathurthi. It lasts for 10 days ending on Anant Chaturdashi. Ganesha Pooja was done everyday in the school. Activities like Ganesha idol painting and Haar and Mukut making were done by students.
