On Friday, in the morning assembly, a speech was given by Anjali Sawant of V C about celebration of Ramzan Id. She spoke about how the holy month of Ramzan is very auspicious to the Muslims all over the world. It is a festival of gifts, feast and joy.
Friday also marked the beginning of ‘Ramayana Masam’. Senior supervisor Mrs.Indulekha lighted the lamp and a ‘Ram dhun’ was played in the morning assembly.The principal addressed the students and spoke about how life today can become beautiful, if we allow ourselves to be influenced by Ramayana and its virtuous characters.
Siddhi Bhagat of std.VII D spoke about sage Valmiki. Every day of the ‘Ramayana Masam’, the students are introduced to the different characters of Ramayana, so that they are inspired to inculcate values and virtues like the characters.
