Education day was celebrated on 11th November 2013. On account of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad’s birth anniversary. He was a scholar and a political leader of Indian Independence Movement. He was the first education minister of free India. He was also awarded the Bharat Ratna.
Photograph of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad was garlanded and the lamp was lit by supervisors in the assembly. An inspirational speech was delivered by Rutuja Bhagat a student of 9th C.
She included the message given by our Prime Minister regarding education on this occasion in her speech.
