Ashadi Ekadashi was celebrated at our school on July 12th. Students enthusiastically participated in ‘Bal Dindi’ to mark the occasion. The Palkhi was decorated with beautiful flowers, and students of Std. IV to Std. VII dressed traditionally as ‘Warkaris’ carried the Palkhi along with the saffron flag for the ’Dindi’ procession held on the school premises. Sarthak Kulkarni of Std. VII read out the information about the procession. The programme ended with a divine ‘Aarati’ of ‘Lord Vittthal’. The purpose of this programme was to create awareness about our culture and teach the children about the traditional values of our country.
