AMRITAVARSHAM SWACHHATA HI SEVA

Amrita Vidyalayam School witnessed a remarkable and inspiring event on the 1st of October as it hosted the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign. Under the guidance and leadership of our esteemed principal Swamini Pavanamritha Prana, the school community came together to dedicate an hour of relentless effort towards the cause of cleanliness and sanitation.

The event kicked off at 10 am sharp, with a collective resolve to make a positive impact on our surroundings. Students of Std. 9, alongside the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, enthusiastically participated in the Swachhata Abhiyaan

The first task at hand was to clean the school’s vicinity, which included not only the classrooms and corridors, but also the school grounds and the Mata Amritanandamayi Marg. Armed with brooms, mops, and a strong sense of responsibility, the staff and students worked tirelessly to remove litter and beautify their surroundings.

One of the highlights of the event was the rally organized by the students of Std. 9. With colorful placards and passionate voices, they spread awareness about the importance of Swachhata among the local community. Their slogans echoed through the streets, urging everyone to take responsibility for their environment and maintain cleanliness as a way of life.

The “Amritavarsham Swachhata Hi Seva” was a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education, where students not only excel in academics, but also develop into responsible and mindful citizens.

In conclusion, the “Amritavarsham Swachhata Hi Seva” event was a resounding success, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our principal, Swamini Pavanamritha Prana, and the enthusiastic participation of students and staff. It served as a reminder that small actions can lead to significant change, and that together, we can create a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful world for ourselves and future generations.
