UCMAS stands for Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System. It is a program which develops the cognitive skill in children using the Abacus as the tool, Arithmetic for the evaluation process and kinesthetic learning as the methodology. An Abacus is a calculation tool used to perform mathematical functions by sliding counters along rods or grooves.
The 16th UCMAS had organized a Pune State Level Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition in which Alisha Maulavi of Class–III secured 1st Runner up position and Inaya Maulavi of Class-VIII secured 4th Runner up position. Trophies were handed over to the students by our Principal Swamini Pavanamritha Prana in the assembly.
